Participation fee:
The participation fee is 400 EUR. For representatives of the partner institutions the fee is 150 EUR (or 700 lei). The participation fee includes summer school materials, accommodation and meals. Transportation costs will be covered by the participants. The online payment link will be uploaded soon.

Disaster risk management - Theory & Concept | Disaster environment | Disaster Management Cycle | The national and international DM system | Disaster response planning | Needs assessment for disaster response | Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for disaster management | Information management, information and decision flow in disaster management | Technical and logistical aspects in disaster response | First aid | Disaster risk communication | Exercise design and preparation | Exercise in field (continuously for 48 hours)
Important notes:
The summer school involves outdoor activities (2 nights in tents) and you are kindly asked to have proper equipment (boots, warm clothes, raincoats, sleeping bags). The dormitories are 4 beds each (shared bathroom).
The summer school is assigned 4 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). The language of the summer school is English.
